About Buy Back Guarantee

Do you buy back any games I bought from your store? We buy back Xbox360, PS3, Wii, PSP and NDS games. We don't buy back GameCube, Xbox, PS2 and PC games. The Buy Back Guarantee is valid for both brand new games and pre-owned games.

Do I have to sell my games back to you within two months? You don't have to. But if you do sell it back to us within 2 months, we would pay a guaranteed price, which is half of what you originally paid, to take back the games. And we will pay you cash to take it back. The only condition is that the disk is free of scratches and the casing and manual are well kept.

What if I hold my games more than two months? We are still happy to take it back. Generally, the take back value is lower than the guaranteed price. And you get store credit instead of cash. Please refer to trade in table to see the values.

If I sell back my games, do i get cash or store credit? Within the buy back period, we will pay you cash for your games.

Do you still buy back my games that's cracked, chipped or heavily scratched? We do not take back any games that of these conditions. Some of the scratched disk might be still working, but we can't sell disk of that condition to other customers, therefore we don't take those.

What's the difference of your Buy Back and Trade In policy? The Buy Back Guarantee is offered to customers who buy their games from us and sells the game back within 2 months. The Trade In is for customers whose games are not bought from us, or who hold their games longer than 2 months.

Do you take in all games that I have? We take in Xbox360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PC and NDS games. We don't take in GameCube, PS2, GBA and Xbox games.

Do you take in games that I bought from other countries? We only take in games that can be played on local game consoles, which are NTSC/J. However, some of the games are region code free, those games we will take in as well.

If I trade in my games, do I get cash or store credit? We have stopped cash buy-in of used games with effect from 16th July 2007. Customer can trade-in their used games to offset other purchase, or get store credits.

I paid very high price for my game when I bought it a few years ago, why do you take it in for only $5 - $10? Your price is too low. There are a few factors that affect the take-in value: a. Age. When a game grows older, it becomes cheaper. Prices are usually slashed after a game has been published for half to one year. Therefore, if you have any games that you no longer play, the sooner you sell it, the better price you can get. b. Availability. Some games, such as Halo on Xbox, had been given away freely and many people had played them. As there are not many people want to buy it, its price is become lower.

How can i be assured the quality of your pre-owned games? Generally, our pre-owned games are of very good condition. We test all pre-owned games before selling them. However, there are variation between different game machines. Should it occurs that the game can't be played on your console, we would exchange another copy for you, or give you full refund if we run out of stock. Customer need to inform us within 3 days of any functional problem. We have been dealing with up to a thousand pre-owned games, the cases of mal-functioning are very rare.

- How to reserve a product?
You can either call us at 67550618 or write to us at enquiry@silverynote.com to make reservation. We will hold a product for customer for 3 days. If the customer can't come to collect within 3 days, we can arrange to hold it up to a week. If the customer does not come to pick up within agreed period, the game will be released to sell to others.
- If I leave a message in CONTACT US page, will you see my message and reply?
Yes, we will see your message and we will reply, usually within 24 hours. Please make sure you leave us a correct email address.
- I see this sentence: "Special price available in store for this title." on some product pages. What does it mean?
Some products are under price control. For these products, retailers are not allowed to advertise a price lower than Suggested Retail Price (SRP). For these products, we will list SRP on our web page. You can visit, call or email us to find out what's on going shop price.
